What’s new in 2026.10

• Picture on a second display. Press V to send it full screen to another monitor.
• Exports no longer carry your folder paths, user name or machine name, and neither do shared recipes and chains. Confidential delivery exports the audio only. The source record beside an export is optional, in Settings.
• Curves can be drawn during playback with picture without lag, long H.264 included. The video's soundtrack loads in the background and is cached, so projects with picture reopen quickly.
• Type a timecode in the toolbar to locate. Playback scrolls the timeline a page at a time, and dragging the playhead past the edge scrolls it.
• Unsaved changes survive opening another project or a failed save, and work is offered back after a crash. An export with a missing source stops and names the file.
• Other fixes: dropouts during playback, a click on stop, pitched clips playing past their end, paste sending edits to the original, placed chains losing Bed layers, Hero changing locked events, and accented or non-Latin folder names on Windows. Busses can be renamed from their mixer strip.
